School Uniform

School Uniform

The wearing of school uniform is strongly recommended. It promotes pride in the school and illustrates that we are all an equal part of the Kirkhill team. The wearing of football strips is not permitted and fashion logos are discouraged. We would ask for your support in this matter by ensuring your child wears our school uniform. All school clothing should be clearly labelled with your child’s name.

The school badge which is on our sweatshirts, polo shirts and all weather jackets depicts the spire of Nigg Kirk Church on top of the hill. The spire can be seen from the school grounds. The water on the badge depicts the River Dee at the bottom of the hill. The school badge colours represent grey for the granite used in the original buildings of Kincorth, green for the shrubbery of the “Gramps”, yellow for the gorse and broom growing there, and blue for the River Dee.
