What are NESCol Link Courses?
Hosted by North East of Scotland College
Opportunity to study more vocational courses
Suited to pupils thinking of leaving school to move into employment, college or apprenticeships
Suited to pupils who are thinking of a career in a similar area
What is it like to attend a NESCOL Links course?
You will attend 2 afternoons per week.
You will be expected to make your own way to the venue (Gallowgate or Altens)
You are representing Bridge of Don Academy and required to show a mature attitude
School links courses require a great deal of commitment!
What are the benefits of attending a NESCOL Links Course?
You will experience more independent learning, which will prepare you for life after school.
You will meet new people and your confidence in new situations will grow.
You will also get access to more courses which are not offered in Bridge of Don Academy. Some of these courses might be similar to careers you are interested in.
How do I get to NESCol?
You make your own travel arrangements. It is recommended that you travel by bus.
All under 22s in Scotland now get free bus travel. Go to young.scot/travel to apply online for free travel.
