How We Learned

Essential Agreements

We will...

  • Always be responsible by finishing our work on time.

  • Contribute to our team and participate in team discussions

  • Collaborate with each other by sharing ideas, and supporting each other.

  • Seek first to understand then to be understood, meaning we listen to each other.

  • Avoid conflicts by owning up to our mistakes and afterwards, we move on.

We made some essential agreements to ensure that we can move smoothly as a team and avoid most conflicts, of course we have had some conflicts in our learning journey, but these essential agreements helped us fix them. With these essential agreements we can also know that everyone is involved and is being proactive in our time together. We as a group chose and made these agreements, and have agreed to each one.

Our goals

Sanaya's Goal

My goal is to make a great and successful action with my group. I have this goal because me and my group need to have a good action so that I have something to show with my group when we present it. I will know when I get closer to my goal, when I see that I am contributing to 1/3 of the team bibliography because to get ideas for an action, I will need to research.

Alex's Goal

My goal is to get better at research. I have this goal because I need to learn to research better so that I have that skill to use. I will know that I am making progress if I get many good sources and I contribute at least 1/3 of the team's annotated bibliography.

Leo's Goal

My goal for exhibition is to become better at research because in future I will have problems with that because I will have to do an annotated bibliography for which I will need a lot of research, and that is my main goal.

Meeting our Goals

Sanaya

  1. I set my goal because I wanted to make a change, and to do this change I would learn different skills that would help me later on.

  2. When we started exhibition, I worked hard and researched a lot. I started getting some ideas for my groups action.

  3. Afterwards I listed down my ideas and picked up some possible ones that we could do even with the big situation (coronavirus).

  4. My group helped me write the speech and set up this site, as part of our action.

  5. I met my goal and managed to have an action that did something good.

Alex

  1. I set my goal because I need to get better at research.

  2. We started the exhibition by researching. I worked hard and found sources for my group.

  3. We started sorting our information to look at which questions we answered. I started to look at different info and see what questions we still need to answer.

  4. We went further and did some more research to back up our information and answer more questions.

  5. I met my goal and became better at research.

Leo

  1. I set this goal because I wanted to change something that I am not really good at, and to do this change I had to learn a lot of new things and that would make me reach my goal.

  2. When exhibition started, I had to research and find out a lot of new things about my issue and then I knew more and it became easier.

  3. Then I wrote all of it in a google doc and some of them could even help the situation know with coronavirus.

  4. All of my team members gave me advice what to do and it became even better than it was before.

  5. I did my goal and when in to action of something good.
