Statue in the Garden / Guardian Angel
This piece was inspired by guardian angels and statue gardens. The wings in this piece symbolize freedom that has yet to be taken from me, the butterflies symbolize hope, the “guardian angel” or “statue” in this piece is protecting a butterfly or “hope” protecting it from the outside world, you could also see this as protecting the whole garden, or protecting what’s beautiful, with sunflowers symbolizing happiness, Black Eyed Susan symbolizing childhood and innocence and primroses symbolizing the love of others. This basically means the person in the middle is protecting childhood innocence, their loved ones and the happiness of themselves and maybe others, while holding themselves close to hope. This could also be shown as, where the person is protecting all these ideas and symbolisms, they themselves are absent of it, as seen in the circle around them that has no paint nor flowers.
Question Everything
Childlike wonder
This piece represents the childlike wonder that comes from a completely different world you know little about. It shows the impact of the different perspective impacting the child as they stare and learn more. It is the unknown of the world only a child has and the childlike answer. The answer being the beauty in the tank and world, while also showing the child ignore the other answer in the darkness and dullness around them. This is represented in the way everything outside the tank is greyscale and black while inside is this mesh of colors and shapes.

Dreaming a world of your own
This piece is about what inspires me and how I use it. I like to draw with music, music makes me feel emotions which I translate into drawings or beautiful things. Flowers represent those beautiful things and the hidden butterflies represent the hope I put into drawing, as if drawing what I hope for the future. There are clouds coming out from the head of the character to represent a dream or idea, it is still fogging and nonsensical so it is a cloud. The fish, stars, and flowers are my thoughts, fish for the flow of the thought as if like a river. The night sky for the calm I feel and the flowers my new ideas growing or sprouting from my imagination. The cloud is my imagination, the human me, the pencil my translator and the flowers are what comes from it.
Nature
Lamp Post
This is a piece I made myself, I designed the places and color of the stitches in a pixel program and then cross stitched it onto fabric. The scene is supposed to represent nature taking over man made things, like street lights and boots. The boots are also a cameo to my favorite song, "Welly Boots" by The Amazing Devil. They represent the passing of a loved one and the ever present reminder of them, the exact lyrics are "You'll turn around, perched by the stairs
Someone's gone and left behind...
A brand-new pair of scarlet welly boots
Postmodernism
Orange Peel
My image represents the kindness of the hands that peel oranges for you, a simple act but can move anyone.
It was inspired after a friend of mine peeled an orange for me. I have trouble with food and I didn’t have enough time to pack lunch so I brought three oranges.
My friend got mad and started peeling the oranges for me and putting them in this fruit salad she brought, afterwards we both ate the fruit salad together.
Personal Choice
Spray Paint
I did this piece to represent myself, my interests, my characters and my art. The Sunflowers are my favorite type of flower and I love to draw koi fish.
With the name, I went with mood boards that followed the color pallets while also picking the things I love, like lemons, oranges, butterflies and bees.
I included my character in the middle to show how she is all the stuff I love and I am, the things I stuggle with as well as the things I strive for.
This piece represents me, in the things I love, the book series I read, the tea I drink even the art I make. It is a study on my identity in the digital form returning to that format later but instead doing not on what my past dictates I am, but what I want to be in the future.
