I've Taken the Diagnostic; Now What?

Learning Goals:

Participants will explore and interpret their student i-Ready reading and math data to better prepare for parent questions during Parent-Teacher Conferences on October 12 and 13.
Participants will learn how to encourage and support students as they work through the i-Ready personalized learning path.

This is a 90 min. asynchronous professional learning opportunity.
You will complete the following steps, in order, as you work your way through this module.

Follow these directions and explore a few student's upcoming lessons in their My Path to better understand the nature of the computer assignments.
Record your reflection on the third page of your Note Taking Sheet.

Click the Student Dashboard Guidelines to view how students and families monitor progress at home. Note parents can see the student's Diagnostic Scale Score.
Refer to the third page of your Note Taking Sheet for the definition of a Scale Score.
Review the information provided on the Diagnostic Growth Report.
Be prepared to share the scaled score or the Diagnostic Growth Report (pg. 1) at the Parent Teacher Conferences if requested.
