A "Dash"ing Star
Your Task
Dash loves being a star! Write a story where Dash is the main character. Don't forget the costumes!
What You Need:
Dash
iPad with Blockly installed or a Chromebook and the Blockly website
Optional: costume making materials and set materials

Directions:
Brainstorm ideas for a short story where Dash is the main character. You and other friends can be additional characters. Include the setting, the problem and the character descriptions.
Program Dash to act out the story. You can record 10 separate lines of dialogue under the "Sounds" block. Utilize the pre-programmed sounds too.
Design your costumes.
Run your program.
Reflect on your program using one of the reflection options.
Alternative: Have Dash act out one of the stories you've read in class.
Optional: Video record your story using the camera on a second Chromebook or ipad.
Extension: Have Dash act out multiple scenes and then edit them together in WeVideo to make a movie!
