Blank grid
Drawing paper
Crayons, markers, etc
Scissors
Optional: Book for reference
Choose a story you have recently read in class. What are the big events in the story?
Take a sheet of paper and fold it in half and in half again. When you unfold your paper, you should have 4 squares to draw in.
In each square, draw a different big event from the story.
Cut the squares apart. Each one should fit inside one of the grids on the mat.
Repeat until you have drawn all of the big events in the story.
Put each drawing in a different square on the grid.
Plan your program so that BeeBot visits each event in the order that they occured in the story. Have him pause at each one so that you can explain what happened.
Program BeeBot to run your code.
Reflect on your code using one of the reflection options.
