Advanced Placement (AP) Exams
The College Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) Program provides motivated students the opportunity to take college-level courses and earn college credit.

Part 1: Multiple-choice
Part 2: Free-response (essays, problem-solving, or portfolios for art-based courses)
⚠️ Students must bring their charged AACPS-issued device. Students without it may not be able to participate.
🗓️ September 15 – October 31, 2025
📌 $40 late/cancellation fee after deadline
Students must join AP Classroom for each course. Students and parents are required to submit the Google form to order a test
AACPS covers up to 4 exams per student per year. Additional financial support may be available for qualifying students.
❗ Families will be responsible for exam fees if the student cancels or does not take the exam.
Not guaranteed and only provided in cases of legitimate schedule conflicts.
Students with an IEP or 504 plan must apply for accommodations through the College Board. Please reach out to 504/IEP facilitator to get started.

Early Dismissal / Late Arrival for AP Exams:
Students may be excused from classes on the day of their exam:
Morning exam → eligible for early dismissal
Afternoon exam → eligible for late arrival
