1 Technology Support Specialist
Instructional Technology Integrators serve dual roles as building Technology Coordinators and Technology Integrators. There is one Instructional Technology Integrator at YHS, one at HMS and one who shared between YES and ROWE. The Instructional Technology Integrators plan, budget, and purchase equipment for each school in the district. Instructional Technology Integrators also support students, staff, and administrators in their use of technology.
The Network Administrator serves several roles in the district. The Network Administrator plans for upgrades, maintains and budgets for the upkeep of our wireless and wired networks within the district. The Network Administrator is also an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) and maintains and inventories all district computing equipment.
The Data Administrator is responsible for the maintenance and administration of our student information system, PowerSchool. The Data Administrator is instrumental in the scheduling process at each school. The Data Administrator also maintains our substitute calling system, AESOP, and assists cafeteria and library staff with importing student and teacher data into their systems.
Technology Education Technicians support students, staff, and administrators in their use of technology. There is one Technology Education Technician at YHS and one at HMS. The primary role of the Technology Education Technician is to support the MLTI project at YHS and HMS. Each Technology Education Technician is the person students and staff will first see when they are having difficulties with their devices. The Technology Education Technician will then forward the issue to the building Instructional Technology Integrator or the Network Administrator depending on the issue. The Technology Education Technician is responsible for maintaining the MLTI Asset Manager for each school.
