The Park opens the century with a rather surprising conference championship over the State Finalists and defending champions East Grand Rapids and Final Four Hastings. The Park versus Unity Christian Regional Final is a Grand Valley State attendance record. Since that game the University had to decrease the number allowed into games. Physical and mental toughness mark this Park team as they also win the District Championship and end up as one of the all time greatest Park teams at 21-4. Seniors AJ Van't Hof, RJ Bentley, and K'Brio Kimble were all first team all-conference. K'Brio was also first team all-state.
