New Appraisers will have the opportunity to simulate an appraisal inspection and gain the confidence and skills needed to act like old pros, while old pros will add new skills needed to expand a practice and advance product knowledge in accumulating qualified appraiser status with the IRS.
Participants will receive a course workbook, a digital forms archives and a certificate of completion. The Good, Better, "Best" Workshop is limited to 15 individual appraisers to ensure a low student to instructor ratio.
Soon there will be new education requirements for qualified appraisers from the Appraisal Foundation. Proposed qualification for appraisers include "Credentialed appraisers are required to obtain seventy (70) hours of continuing education during each five (5) year period preceding credential. Twenty (20) hours of which must be in coursework related to valuation theory." Our workshop will dedicate part of one full day to valuation theory, the first class of it's kind.
