Literacy

Children enter the kindergarten classroom with a wide range of experiences both socially and academically.  Our daily literacy activities will foster your child’s reading, writing, and vocabulary development.  Our literacy curricula includes Fountas & Pinnell as well as Fundations which provide systematic and explicit phonics instruction that will help all our students work towards becoming successful and confident readers and writers.  We engage students in daily phonemic awareness activities.
