Overdue Library Books & Fines:
At several times during the school year, students with books overdue will be reminded to return them to the library and to pay any fines owing. This will ensure that these books are available to be borrowed by other students, and will improve the effectiveness of the library circulation. An email with overdue book information will be sent home or to the student's Woodland email account, a list of fines (when book returned late but no fine paid) will be posted outside the library, and reminders will be added to the morning announcements. Should any books & fines still be outstanding by the specified date (usually in mid-November, early January, late March and late May), and no alternative & acceptable arrangements have been made with the librarian, students responsible will serve lunchtime detentions until their book is returned and/or fine paid.
