Questions
- Is there intracranial hemorrhage?
- No. It is important to assess for hemorrhage as hemorrhage is a contraindication to tPA. For an example of intracranial hemorrhage, review Case 2
- What is the tubular hyperdense structure in the image on the right?
- The hyperdense tubular structure is clot within the middle cerebral artery and is referred to as a "hyperdense MCA sign"
