Anatomy
HeadNeckBrainSpine: Great site that allows the viewer to scroll through a set of images with the ability to toggle on and off structures. Requires FLASH and therefore won't work on an iphone or ipad. It is free!
e-anatomy: Another great site that allows you to scroll through a series of different neuroimaging studies. Also requires FLASH. Some of the modules are free. There is a subscription fee to see more detailed anatomic structures.
ACR Appropriatness Criteria: The American College of Radiology issues guidelines for neuroimaging. Imaging tests are given an "appropriateness score" based on the clinical presentation. Scores of 1, 2 and 3 are usually not appropriate and scores of 7, 8 and 9 are considered appropriate.
