3. Describe the abnormalities using appropriate terminology.

There are three masses located within the left frontal lobe. They are dark or "hypointense" on T1 (green arrows), bright or "hyperintense" on T2 (red arrows) and show peripheral contrast enhancement (blue arrows). There is surrounding edema that is bright on T2 and FLAIR images that predominantly involves the white matter, in a pattern consistent with vasogenic edema (orange arrows).
