VILLAGE Formation Meeting for north Berkshire!

Let's get started forming a helpful VILLAGE for north Berkshire! If you are not yet familiar with the VILLAGE concept, a Village is alot like a club - that adults of any age can join (for little or no cost) in order to meet new people, enjoy organized activities of many kinds, get referrals to trusted home or professional services and get help from Village volunteers, to complete small but necessary tasks around the home. Village members decide what services they need to remain living safely and comfortably in their homes/community andthe Village organization arranges to provide those services. Villages are sprouting up all across the USA, to help baby-boomers and younger folks too, to age-in-community -- but better!

From our 2018 Village Community Conversations and Survey, we know there's alot of interest! So please come out and discuss what we need to do to get going. Any adult from north County is invited to attend (even if you're just curious!) Come and bring a friend, your Mom, Dad, Grandparents too!

VILLAGE Formation Meeting -- Wed. 9/25/19, 10:00 a.m. Mary Spitzer Senior Center, 116 Ashland St, North Adams, MA 01247. For directions and to RSVP, call 413-662-3125.
