School Committee vacancy

In accordance with Section V(D) of the Regional District Agreement between Lanesborough and Williamstown (copy attached), I am charged with calling a joint meeting of the Lanesborough Board of Selectmen, Williamstown Board of Selectmen and Mt. Greylock Regional School District Committee to appoint a new member of the Committee to fill a vacancy caused by the resignation of a Williamstown member.

I ask that the Chair of each board/committee contact Mt. Greylock Regional School District Superintendent Kim Grady to suggest acceptable dates and times for that board/committee. Please note that time is of the essence regarding this appointment (under the district agreement, this task must be accomplished by July 5 – 30 days after the effective resignation of the departing committee member).
