While it's still too early to hit the links, it's still Tea Time at the Harper Center, Karyn's Annual Winter Tea happens at the Harper Center on February 22nd at 1:00.The winter tea was originally designed to be a Christmas holiday event and was styled as the "Nutcracker Tea". After a couple snow outs, the event was moved to mid-February several years ago and obviously the theme changed with the move. We've had a Mardi Gras themed event, a Presidential themed event, a Valentines tea and one simply called Karyn's "Wholly Tea"...This year, as the event falls on Washington's birthday, the theme is sort of related to George with cherry scones featuring on the menu. Of course there will be cucumber sandwiches, little ham and pineapple sandwiches and other typical tea party finger foods. The event was designed as a less formal event than it's August counterpart so feel free to join us-and leave the long gloves and goofy hats home!
