BandLab Pop Song Overview
You will be creating a pop song on bandlab. Log in information is below. It must include the following sections in this order; Intro, Verse 1, Chorus 1, Verse 2, Chorus 2, Bridge, Final Chorus, Coda. Every section is either 8 or 16 bars long.
Intro - Typically one calm track.
Verse 1 - Chill. Maybe two instrument tracks and a vocal track with lyrics.
Chorus 1 - More exciting and louder. Typically more tracks stacked ontop of each other. Typically drums, bass, keys and repetitive vocals.
Verse 2 - Copy and paste verse 1 but change the vocals.
Chorus 2 - Copy and paste Chorus 1
Bridge - A diversion from everything we have heard. Something different. Typically quieter than the chorus.
Final Chorus - Copy and paste Chorus 1 but add maybe another drum track or bass. You can also copy and paste the same vocals and stack them to make it fuller and bigger sounding.
Coda - Copy and paste the intro but add one track. Typically very chill.
Notice when each section starts. This is assuming each section is 8 bars long. Make sure your section snaps to that line as we are expecting the verse or chorus to start at that bar number.
