Student Membership - West Holt Public Schools has shown an increase in enrollment in the past ten years of approximately 100 students. An in-house preschool was added in the fall of 2011, which has increased enrollment by over 30 students per year. Likewise, newer facilities and younger families returning to the district to raise their children has increased enrollment in the remainder of the school.
Student Race and Ethnicity- West Holt Public Schools, for a one year period, had a slight increase in African American students and a significant increase in our Hispanic student population which has caused us to add an ELL program for both our Elementary and JH-HS students.
Highly Mobile- West Holt Public Schools dropped to 2.48% from 4.74% in this area.
Teachers- West Holt Public Schools teaching staff from the 2014-2015 school year to the 2018-2019 has seen a 14% increase in teachers earning a Master's Degree. West Holt schools has a veteran staff because teachers like the smaller classes and community to raise a family. The average teacher salary has increased due to the number of veteran teachers and the increased number of teachers earning Master's Degrees.
