1) Become a Donor. Your annual donation helps provide funds for student scholarships, supplemental music education, supplies, performance opportunities, instruments, music, equipment, and much more! Your membership donation is allocated: 50% to the school/program of your choice, 25% to the scholarship fund, 25% to the general fund. Members can also be people who give time as building reps, or officers! We are looking for someone to help with the Discount Cards (1 person to organize the business discounts, and a separate person to coordinate the sales/funds from the sales and track the cards)
2) Be a School Rep. Work closely with your child's teacher in a variety of ways including, but not limited to assisting with fundraisers and booster card/ booster apparel sales. School Reps are the parent voice of that school in the organization. All schools need at least one "Rep", but a few parents could also share the job! Please let Mrs. Schweihs know if you might be willing to be your school's rep It is ok to have more than 1 rep for each school to share the duties!
3) Become an Officer. It often can seem overwhelming to jump right into an officer position, but we are very open to having new interested members shadow positions to get some experience before jumping into a position the following year! Please let Mrs. Schweihs know if you might be willing to step into an officer role! You don't have to do it alone- it would be great to have 2 parents sharing a job
4) Donate Your Used Instruments. We will help get your tax deductible instrument donation into the hands of a deserving student musician!
5) Donate Your unused folding music stands (we need them for the big concerts and summer camps!
