Honors math 2

Students will be given workbooks for each unit. If a workbook is lost, PDFs of the workbooks are available on Canvas.

Textbooks are available for check out, on request. Email your teacher with your name and class period.

Pre-read topics the night before being discussed in class. If you do this, when you hear the topic in class, it will be the second time you have been exposed to that topic, not the first.
Re-read topics the night after being discussed in class.
Study each definition and theorem. Parse it in detail and make sure you understand the significance of each part.
Study each proof in detail. This can be difficult, but it will deepen your understanding. Go slowly, one step at a time, trying to understand how they got from one step to the next. You will likely have to reread the same steps many times before you understand. This is normal.

The class textbook is "Calculus: Graphical, Numerical, Algebraic" by Finney, Demana, Waits, and Kennedy.
