ALA Member FAQ Page

Below are slides that document the standard layout each ALA student must follow for his/her freshman-junior year of high school, the list of AP courses within the building, and the list of accelerated courses and courses with articulated credit.

This is the list of required ALA courses for each ALA student from freshman-junior year. You will see that senior year is the most flexible for class choice. It is highly recommended that you take AP Lit & Comp their senior year so as to not decrease your level of learning and rigor before entering college.

This is the list of AP courses offered at SHHS--this should help guide your planning for your schedule each year.

This is the list of accelerated courses (meaning they are weighted) as well as the list of articulated credit (meaning they may not especially benefit your weighted GPA, but they are college level courses that are taught in-house).
