6th grade Religion classes: 12/13/21:
This week our focus will be on the Nativity stories in the Bible. We will be comparing and contrasting the different versions in the Gospels. After we finish the Nativity stories we will be starting our unit on the Liturgical calendar year.
Over the year students will be learning about the Liturgical Calendar, the Sacraments, the Beatitudes, Saints, Prophets and more! Most of the work will be done in class with occasional homework as needed.
Please do not forget about service hours! All 6th graders need to complete a total of 5 service hours by the end of the school year. If you need help figuring out activities that would count towards service hours for your student, please do not hesitate to contact me using the information listed below.
The Friends of Rachel (or FOR) club is a student club that focuses on spreading a chain reaction of kindness and positive behaviors towards other students, teachers, and the school community. TBD on the return date of the Friends of Rachel club due to Covid protocols.
