Jump Rope for Heart

The Grade 3-5 students raised $2000.00! Thank you for your support to help fund lifesaving research and programs that help our community!

What: Jump Rope for Heart is a nationally educated fund-raising event that is sponsored by the

American Heart Association and the Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE).

Where: Lowell gym.

Who: Grade 3-5 students.

When: During the week of February 13, 2017 in the student's P.E. class.

Why: By participating in Jump Rope for Heart, you are helping to save lives!

How: Jump Rope for Heart engages elementary students in jump roping while raising funds to support lifesaving heart and stroke research. Students ask friends and family for donations and receive thank-you gifts based on the money they raise. This educational program teaches physical fitness and promotes the value of community service to students and their families. It shows students that they can contribute to their community's welfare.
