1.  All start prices are minimum prices in Norwegian Kroner (NOK).

2.  Bids shall be given in NOK.

3.  Objects are sold to the highest bidder. If there is only one bid, the sales price will be the minimum bid in the list. If there are more bids, the highest bid will be adjusted to 10% above the next highest. 4.  The Society’s commission will be 10% of the sales price.

5.  Postage and handling will be charged to the actual rates. Objects/lots with sales price > NOK 5.000 will be sent in registered letters if other not should be wanted.

6.  Won lots will be invoiced in NOK. Payment by bank transfer, in cash in a registered letter or via PayPal.  Via PayPal, please add 5% for the PayPal fee.  Checks are not accepted.

7.  The auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any lot before and during the auction.

8.  Quality is average unless other mentioned.

Kriegsgefangenenpost: Norwegian POW in Oflag XXIC. Lot 2 covers to the camp Schildberg from Lillehammer 1944 and 1 cover and 1 card from the camp to Hamar 1943, all four with camp censor marks. The two from the camp in some poor quality

NK 99, 5ø x2 on postcard cancelled SEL 4.VIII.16 sent to Finland with Finish censor marks. Enclosed at postcard from Finland to UK 25.X.16 also with a Finish censor mark.  

NK233-36: Nansen II on registered cover to Sweden cancelled Drammen BK 22.10.40. On reverse a neutral brown censor-label and mark GEPRÜFT / DEUTSCHE ZENSUR from the ABP Oslo. 

Cover from detained Norwegian military in Filipstad, Sweden (Feltpost 700) cancelled Postanstalten 1112 22.5.40 (quite weak) and sent to Oslo. In left corner German censor mark VIDEREBEFORDRING / TILLATT / TYSK CENSUR and in right corner Swedish mark Post from internerad miitär /……  A black spot in the left corner – low limit

2kr + 60ø lion on air mail cover cancelled Halden 16.7.41 sent to Brazil.  Arrival mark on reverse. German censor-label and -mark from ABP München.  A vertical tray in left side

20ø lion on cover cancelled Oslo 13.12.43 sent to Denmark.  In left side a neutral brown censor-label and a censor mark Ao ( Lindewald: DO-34+60).  According to Lindewald the censor combination was in use only for about three weeks. Nice repaired opening tear to the left

7ø ph on commercial printed matter envelope sent to Narvik cancelled OSLO 4.8.44 KNUT HAMSUN / 1859* 4-8* 1944.  The cancellation was in use 1 day only

Cover from Den Norske Creditbank Oslo cancelled with meter marks 30 øre 1811.40 sent to N.Y, USA.  On front a mark in green: Den norske Creditbank / Valutabank/ Iflg. Norges Banks bemyn- / digelse av 23. Juli 1940. On reverse a German censorlabel and mark from ABP Berlin.  Post route via Russia and the Trans Siberian Railway.  Good cover

Lot 14 censored covers 1940-41 sent to Sweden, Denmark and USA. Enclosed a cover from Skarnæs to USA 1918 with British censor-label. Mixed quality and low limit

British forces mail from Oslo sent to Dublin cancelled POST / OFFICE MARITIME / MAIL.  The cover is undated   - probably from summer 1945. The senders address is written on reverse; British Forces, Torvgaten 17, Oslo (same address as the US Mil HQ). The envelope with an opening tear 

Lot 1 cover and 1 picture post card (Kirkeveien, Oslo) sent to England both cancelled FIELD POST OFFICE 786 in 1945= Oslo.  The cancellation on 

the card is weak. Small opening tear in envelope.

British Field Post cover cancelled (some weak) Field Post Office 150 15. JY 46 sent to England.  Number 150 was used in Bergen and belonging to the British Air Borne Div.

Utenlandske brev - Foreign mail

Denmark: Lot 2 covers: 40ø Caravel on cover cancelled København 28. NOV 1941 and sent to New York.  On reverse a German censor label from ABP Berlin, hidden by an American censor label: Examined by /5042.  On front a number mark 0769 (for transit post) from Berlin.  Weak vertical bend. Post route via Lisbon by ship to USA. And 20ø + 15 Caravel + 6 ø on pre-printed cover from the stamp exhibition in Copenhagen cancelled with the exhibition mark 7.3.1941 sent to Los Angeles, USA.  On front handwritten donation: Via Lissabon.  On reverse a German censor label and mark from ABP Berlin

Denmark: 5ø x 4 = 20ø on cover cancelled København 7.7.40 sent to Porsgrunn, Norway.  German censor-label and -mark from ABP Hamburg only.  The sender with address: H.M.S. “Søløven”, a Danish minesweeper built in 1938.

Denmark: Lot 9 covers/cards 1942-44 sent to Norway and1 card to Italy 1942 with Xmas-label.  A few FDC.  Mostly Danish censor. 

Finland: 1,75 MK overprint x 2 on nice cover ceancelled TURKU 12.X.40 sent to Norway.  On left side a Finish censor-lable and mark and on reverse a German brown neutral censorlabel and mark: GEPRÜFT DEUTSCHE ZENSUR from ABP Oslo. Unusual clear imprint

Sweden: Lot 12 covers/cards 1940-45 mostly sent to Norway and with German censorship from Oslo. Mixed quality

Germany: lot 6 commercial cards all sent to Norway 1940-44 and with censor-marks from ABP Berlin. 1 sent air mail

Hungary: 50F x2 + 70F on Reg. air mail cover from Budapest 1943 sent to Sandnes, Norway.  Arrival mark on reverse 26.6.43.  German censor-label and -mark from ABP Wien. On reverse a nice letter stamp from Budapest.

Kjøpekort for trelast utstedt av Landbruksdepartementet og stemplet «Deutsche Wehrmacht» utstedt til norsk entreprenørfirma.  Stempel fra «Der Reichskommissar» nede til høyre. 

1 stk ubrukt, brettet feltpostbrevkort og 1 stk brettet feltpostkonvolutt; brettet for å få plass i uniformslomme til norsk soldat under felttoget i Nord-Norge 1940. Trykket i Tromsø våren 1940.

NK 653, 70ø Liberation anniversary on illustrated souvenir-cover celebrating 30th anniversary fleet air arm attack on Tirpitz in Altenfjord 3rd April 1944 cancelled Alta 3.7.74.  Nice cover but address-label missing

Germany: unused picture post card “Unsere Luftwaffe – Bücker Jungmeiser”, issued by Driesen Verlag, Berlin. Bücker Bü 133 Jungmeister was a German one-seater sports and training aircraft. It was used by the German Luftwaffe as a training aircraft during World War II.
