Hannah has been Ukrainian dancing since she was 7 but dancing since she was 3 years old. She loves Ukrainian dance because it lets her connect with her heritage and make friends with similar values. She enjoy teaching because she loves being able to spread her love of dance and our culture with a new generation of dancers.
Madeline fell in love with Ukrainian dancing 10 years ago at the Calgary Ukrainian Festival and have been dancing ever since. Doing Ukrainian dance is important to her because it allows her to express herself but also tell the story of her history and culture. Teaching has unlocked new joys in Ukrainian dance, getting to know the younger dancers at the studio and helping them with their dance journey as they work their way up to the higher levels. Working with the younger generations from Ukraine also teaches her more about the culture of Ukraine.
