One of the coolest things about this course is the freedom you have to choose the activities you do for your fitness log hours. Be creative! Try something new! You can totally count hours from activities you normally do, but now is your chance to try yoga, rock climbing, skateboarding and mixed martial arts, etc. :)
Fifty percent of your grade will come from the coursework inside Edgenuity (tests, quizzes, assignments, etc.)
It will take 4-8 hours to complete this part of the course.
The other 50% of your grade will come from your fitness logs (You'll need to log 40 total hours by the target date for full points, 30 for summer term).
YOU MUST submit your fitness log hours inside Edgenuity to pass this course.
Submit your hours once you've reached the halfway point and then again at the end / when you've logged 40 (fall and spring semesters).
Those enrolled for summer term (.50 credit) will need 30 total fitness log hours.
Those enrolled for .25 credit will need 20 total fitness log hours.
What can you count for your fitness log hours?
You can begin counting your hours for this course on August 1st for fall semester, January 1st for spring semester and June 1st for summer term.
Again, to get credit for your fitness log hours, you must submit them inside the course in Edgenuity.
You should have at least 20 hours submitted by midterm and 40 by the end of the semester (fall and spring).
Please note, if you are taking 2 PE courses during the same semester, you CANNOT count your exercise hours towards both classes. You must complete 40 hours of exercise for each PE course (30 for summer term, 20 for .25 credit).

I will update grades in PowerSchool on Wednesdays. You will be responsible for making sure your grade is where you need it by Tuesday night if needed for school sports, etc.
