How to Shoot Video That Doesn't Suck by Steve Stockman may be one of the most practical books ever written in terms of visual storytelling. I have read the book numerous times and always find something new when I read it again.
We will use the physical book as a guide in class, but last year I was also granted some money to purchase a license to use the online video course that goes along with the book. I will give you our class username and password when we are ready to access this portal.
I have included a link to a video trailer of the book to the left and also a link to the online course created by the author which we will use in class before shooting some of our projects.

Honestly, I still have yet to scratch the surface of everything Stuio Binder has to offer. If you are serious about video production efforts that require the use of any size crew, then Studio Binder will be able to help you along any part of the pre-production, production, or post-production process.
Plus, this website has some great posts about how to format a screenplay, types of camera shots, shotlists, storyboards, and filming styles and techniques.
