Starting LaTeX Typing

For Windows/Linux users the first step is to download and install the engine MiKteX.

On Windows/Linux systems my favorite choice is TeXStudio and my second choice is TeXMaker . On Mac system my favorite choice is TeXStudio and my second choice is TeXShop.

You can download here a template for an absolute beginner for a LaTeX document, i.e. as simple as it gets. The folder contains
