Twin Cities Campus

The University of Minnesota has five campuses in locations around the state of Minnesota.

You will be attending the Twin Cities campus. Twin Cities = Minneapolis and St. Paul

The Twin Cities campus is divided into four distinct areas: Como, East Bank, St. Paul, and West Bank. “Bank” in this context refers to the east and west banks of the Mississippi River that runs through the campus.

Significant locations:

• Humphrey School – West Bank (your office cubicle, most classes, faculty, "home base")

• Coffman Memorial Union – East Bank (ID card, student bookstore)

• Northrup Auditorium – East Bank (Graduate School orientation, other events throughout the year)
