Practicum evaluations - all daily and end-of rotation evaluations have been transitioned to Typhon. Printable versions are available for use only in circumstances when preceptors or coordinators are unable to complete an electronic Typhon evaluation.
Purpose: To provide students general orientation checklist for each clinical rotation.
The School of Nursing ensures that students are provided general overview orientation at clinical affiliate sites. Students will complete the Clinical Site Orientation Checklist during the first week of each clinical rotation. The completed and signed form will be submitted to the nurse anesthesia specialty program director by the second week of each clinical rotation.
Minnesota Board of Nursing
Students are responsible for housing, travel, and meals during clinical rotation assignments.
Some clinical sites, but not all, have call rooms or housing for students. However, students must ensure and secure housing arrangements prior to the start of clinical rotation, especially at rural sites. For example, St. Cloud Hospital currently provides housing for students at no cost while Hutchinson Hospital does not provide housing, although may provide a call room during scheduled rotations.
