Nurse Anesthesia Practicum

The University of Minnesota Nurse Anesthesia DNP Program prepares students to practice as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) at the highest level of clinical practice in this fast paced program that leads to a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and national certification examination eligibility. Graduates possess competence in a wide variety of general and regional anesthesia techniques, and are prepared to provide leadership in the practice setting. Our graduates practice at metropolitan hospitals, rural hospitals, children’s hospitals and critical access hospitals across the United States.

The nurse anesthesia practicum site has been created to provide students centralized information related to clinical practicum courses. The main purpose is to ensure that students have immediate access to clinical practicum materials including guidelines and expectations for practicum rotations, clinical rotation orientation form, and formative/summative evaluation templates.
