Scholarship

This section is an overview of selected artifacts from courses and Ed.D. forums which provides a retrospective of my scholarship to date. Also included are artifacts from presentations given at conferences and events/programs that relate to my scholarship in the program. The artifacts are categorized into three areas of scholarship:

(1) Theoretical Foundations

(2) Instructional Practice

(3) Research Methods

The artifacts provided demonstrate the depth and breadth of my understanding in the field of education; the ability to conduct scholarly research using a variety of methods; the ability to review, analyze and synthesize literature; the ability to collect and analyze various forms of data and my experience communicating the results of research in written and oral formats.

Instructions for viewing artifacts:

• Each of the three sections has a short narrative which contextualizes the artifacts selected for the specified area of scholarship.
• Each artifact has a short narrative which briefly summarizes the artifact, the skills obtained from developing the artifact and how this work and process enriched my scholarship.
• To view an artifact, move the cursor to the upper right corner of the artifact. You will see a box with an arrow pointing upward and the words "Pop-out." Click this icon and the artifact will expand for viewing by creating a new tab.
• To exit the artifact, close the tab at the top of your screen which will take you back to the last page of the portfolio you were viewing.
