Nicole Robson Dixon, Ph.D. Dec 2000. BS Summa cum Laude, UCLA 1995. At Michigan: President of the M&I Grad Student Association, Fellow of the Genetics Training Program, Rackham Dissertation Award Fellow, author of 4 scientific papers. Invited to present her work at international meetings including one in Biarritz, France. After completing an NIH-NRSA Fellowship in the Department of Genetics at Duke University, Nicole accepted a position at LabCorp in Burlington, NC, where she is currently Director of the DNA testing laboratory. Dr. Robson is fond of country music but has no other known flaws.

Julie Pfeiffer, Ph.D. June 2001. BA, Miami University of Ohio, 1996. At Michigan: Fellow of the Genetics Training Program, Loeb Fellow in Cancer Biology, Rackham Dissertation Award Fellow, author of 5 scientific papers. Postdoctoral studies: Damon-Runyon Fellow, Department of Microbiology, Stanford University, California. Julie's current position is Professor of Microbiology at UT Southwestern. In a fun "mother-daughter" activity, Alice and Julie published back-to-back papers in Science in 2011. Dr. Pfeiffer photographs best in the presence of alcohol.

Wenfeng An, Ph.D. August 2003. MPH, Beijing Medical University, 1996. At Michigan: First to introduce HIV-1 research into the Telesnitsky lab, Rackham Dissertation Award Fellow, author of 5 research papers and one review article. Wenfeng was subsequently a Life Sciences Research Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Johns Hopkins University. Current position is: Associate Professor and Markl Faculty Scholar in the Oncology Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at South Dakota State University.

Jessica Flynn, Ph.D. August 2005. BS, University of Michigan, 1999. In graduate school: Internship with the Drug Discovery Group at Merck, Member of the Cellular Biotechnology Tranining Program, author of 2 research papers. Current position: Senior Research Virologist in the Vaccine and Biologics Research Department at Merck and Company, West Point, PA.
