Coming to our meetings is the easiest way to get involved with SAS. At these, we host a wide variety of activities including talks by student or faculty researchers, watching space-themed movies, or just hanging out and playing games. These are fun and casual opportunities to become friends with others who are passionate about astronomy. Plus, we have tasty snacks at every meeting!
We are planning to hold in-person meetings in accordance with the University's COVID policies for Fall 2024 and Winter 2025. We are looking forward to seeing many of you back and welcoming new members to SAS. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
Look for the link to join us at meetings and open houses in the emails from our secretary
Meetings are held in 411 West Hall on the following dates for the Fall 2024 and Winter 2025 semester. Meetings will not be recorded, but we will send out our slides to anyone who might want them!
