Research Interests: Determining antigen-specific CD4+ T cell lineage commitment during co-infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Schistosoma mansoni (a parasitic worm).
Current Projects: My project is focused on determining antigen-specific CD4+ T cell lineage commitment during co-infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Schistosoma mansoni (a parasitic worm) in a human cohort in Kenya. I would like to expand this project to include clinical data collected as part of the enrollment process to determine if changes in the immune system associate with different disease outcomes.
