I am a 3rd year Translational Biomedical Science PhD Candidate, working with the Rochester Center for Health Informatics (RCHI) in the Clinical & Translational Science Institute (CTSI). I have my MPH in Epidemiology from Texas A&M School of Public Health and my BS in Exercise Science for Health Professions from University of Houston.
I use network modeling and predictive modeling methods to develop risk scores of patients and hospital units for acquiring nosocomial Clostridium difficile infection. Additional projects include the network modeling of faculty to measure the effectiveness of CTSAs, and network modeling of hospital-nursing home patient transfers and the influence of Clostridium difficile rates from the transferring locations on the receiving locations.
