Research interests: Agent-based and multi-scale models to understand the immune response to tuberculosis.
Current projects: As a postdoc working with Denise Kirschner and Jennifer Linderman, I will use agent-based and multi-scale models to better understand the immune response to tuberculosis. In particular, our group uses the Agent-based GranSim model to describe TB granuloma formation. As a PhD student, the primary focus of my dissertation was to explore the spatiotemporal dynamics and organization of DNA in living yeast cells during interphase through the development of a 3D mathematical model, large-scale model simulations, data analysis, and visualization.
