ApplyMatrix

Apply Matrix

The apply matrix module is used to modify the origin of a volume (gray-scale or label map) most of the cases to approximate two different time point images.

Interface Description:

Input Volume: The gray-scale or label map to be modified in the space.

Click if Input Volume is a segmentation: Select this option if your Input Volume is a label map file (segmentation)

Registration Matrix: The DOF file (.txt, .tfm..) which contains the values of how much the translation and rotation will change. These files are generated after Landmark Registration, Growing/Non-growing Registration, Surface Registration and Transforms Module.

Reference Volume (optional): Used when there are two time point gray-scale images with different dimensions. Select the first time point image (the fixed image on the registration step) as the reference and the Input image (moving image) will have the same dimension.

Output Volume: The Input Volume at the new space positions.

This is an example of a time 2 image (comparing with time 1 ) before and after the 'apply matrix' module. The matrix file was generated by the Landmark Registration Module using skul-base as reference.

Before After

Observation: Slicer do not save files automatically. To have the files saved on the computer click in 'File' on the upper left corner and then in 'Save'. A new window will appear allowing the user to modify the file name, format and directory.
