Our 10-C spectrograph is the first one produced (serial number 0) of the popular 10-C spectrographs made by Optomechanics Research of Vail, AZ. It has some differences from the popular production model but it performs in a similar manner.
History
Imaging Camera:
Originally the 10-C was build for a standard camera body and film.
Later it was upgraded to using an SBIG ST-8 camera to image the spectrum.
In 2016 the camera was upgraded to an SBIG STT-1603ME
Kodak KAF-1600 chip (UV coated)
1536x1024 pixels (9 micron square)
Gain = 1.28
-50 C cooling
In 2013 we had Ron Hillard build a long-slit for us. The length is a few arc minutes long.
In 2016 we replaced the telescope mating collar (the threads had worn on the old one).
