Epsilon Auriga

Epsilon Aurigae Project

This program is part of the International Year of Astronomy effort to monitor the brightness and spectra of the starEpsilon Aurigae through its once-every-three-decades eclipse from 2009-2011. We are particpating in an international pro-am astronomy collaboration to gather data that will tell us something about the dust disk of material causing the eclipse.

The data listed below are available to researchers who would like to use it in their project. The data range from a wavelength of 315nm to 1067nm at resolutions from 0.06 nm to 0.12 nm (0.02 - 0.04 nm per pixel).
