Kennedy Union Meeting Spaces 

Kennedy Union features eight meeting rooms, a large Ballroom that can be divided into two spaces, and a variety of reception spaces. Any food and beverages for meetings and events held in Kennedy Union must be purchased through Catering Services; outside catering is not permitted. 

Meeting Rooms

With eight meeting rooms throughout the second and third floors, Kennedy Union can accommodate many different types of events. Every room has a built-in white board, computer, and projection equipment.   There are three large meeting rooms and four smaller meeting rooms. 

Furniture in Kennedy Union meeting rooms is offered in a standard, fixed meeting room setup based on the room.  Customers are not permitted to move furniture within KU meeting rooms.

Ballroom (West and/or East)

Located on the second floor, the Ballroom can accommodate many custom setup designs as well as be divided into two separate spaces (East and West). It features four built-in projection screens, a sound system, a podium with microphone, grand piano, and access to the second floor lounge space that is great for registration tables and guest check-ins. As Kennedy Union’s most popular space, it is recommended to be booked on the first date of scheduling, and reservations must be made at least 10 business days in advance of the event.

Torch Lounge

Located on the first floor, Torch Lounge is a great space for receptions and gatherings. It features a gas fireplace, built in AV equipment, 9 bistro tables with chairs, 6 café tables, sound system, and access to the Roof Terrace.  Reservations must be made at least 10 business days in advance of the event.

Boll Theatre

Located on the first floor of Kennedy Union, Boll Theatre features a tiered seating layout featuring a variety of audio visual equipment, stage, and orchestra pit. Reservations must be made at least 10 business days in advance of the event and are subject to the review and approval of the Boll Theatre Technical Director. No food or drink is permitted inside the theatre. The Boll Theatre has seating for 371 guests.

the Hangar

Located on the ground floor of Kennedy Union, the Hangar games room features ample lounge space, four bowling lanes, six billiards tables, board games, and a variety of audio visual equipment including a computer and projection screen. During the academic year, reservations can be made for equipment, however, the Hangar remains open for business.  During the summer term and winter break, private rentals are available. Any food and beverages for events held in the Hangar must be purchased through Catering Services or Flyer Enterprises; outside catering is not permitted.
