Nima

Nima is a Ph.D. scholar in Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of California, Riverside. Nima tries to apply his Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, and Biophysicsknowledge and expertise to multidisciplinary research areas.

His current research is directed towards development and application of photonics-based instrumentation to obtain quantitative information that will provide insight into the fundamental mechanisms underlying a biological phenomenon.

Nima’s current research is focused on investigating and characterizing Cellular Mechanics, and the Micro-to-Nano-Mechanical and Nano-Electro-Mechanical characteristics of the living cell plasma membranes.
