Many people, even people in a position of leadership, even church leaders, are concerned for others. But they are sadly misled and do not or cannot know what is right. The truth is real and available to those that want it, though there are few who do. Why is this? Because once you search for the truth and find how far the world is from it, you are overwhelmed at the task before you and wish again for ignorance…but you cannot go back. Once God has revealed that which is right unto you, you begin to hate sin. Soon you become who God wants you to be, but it will be a battle, and it is ongoing, but God’s sons will overcome sin and death (through the blood of Jesus Christ). Traditions and humanitarian attitudes can bring much comfort, but are not enough (not even close) to overcome the sins of this world, and alone, or as the primary “Savior” they will END IN DEATH. You must be humble and die to self to be saved by God.
"And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God." - Luke 9:61-62 (also see Luke 9:23-26, Philippians 3:12, 1 Corinthians 9:24-25, Hebrews 12:1).
Let us be able to say with Paul in 2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:"
