Reading at Home

Here you will find some great resources to use with reading at home.

In the file below you will find:

1. What is expected at each reading level. (This will give you insight in to what to look for while your child is reading at home.)

2. Steps to a typical guided reading lesson. (On an average day your child will do these steps in a small group.)

3. Book lists (This will give you the guided reading level of many books. You can use this to find appropriate books at the library.)

4. A copy of the reading letter sent home at the beginning of the year.
