Scientist use a lot of materials that some people might throw away or recycle.  If you have the following items in your home, please send them to school throughout the year.  

• Large shoe boxes

• 2-liter bottles, rinsed out and dry 

• Tissue boxes (full ones)

To help provide additional funding to Jackson, these programs are participated in:

• Box Tops for Education (download the app and then scan your grocery receipts when you purchase items with the blue box tops logo.)

• Tyson A+ (found on the back or bottom of Tyson frozen chicken products)  Cut this log off and send it to school.

In an effort to help the environment and reduce the amount of waste going into the landfill, Jackson has a non-traditional recycling program through TerraCycle.  Find out more about TerraCycle and their mission at https://www.terracycle.com/en-US/   

Please collect the following items and then send them to school with your student:

• Kroger Frozen Vegetable Bags

• Applesauce pouches

• Empty Toothpaste Tubes and Old Toothbrushes

• Capri Sun drink pouches
