House Bill 5 (HB 5), passed by the 73rd Texas Legislature and signed by the governor, provides for a new set of graduation plans for Texas students. These graduation plans consist of a foundation plan for every Texas student and five endorsements from which students may choose, depending on their interests.
Students entering 9th grade (2014-15 school year), must choose from one of the following endorsements:
STEM
Business and Industry
Arts and Humanities
Public Services
Multidisciplinary Studies
Sudan High School offers all 5 endorsement options.
Students may change their endorsement at any time prior to graduation.
To qualify as part of the top ten percent of their graduating class, students must successfully complete Algebra II.
