Concert Band (Grades 8-12) is the CORE ensemble of the Instrumental Music program, and is made up of students who perform on a woodwind (flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon), brass (trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba), or percussion (drums, xylophone, etc.) instruments. A wide variety of music is explored and performed over the course of the year, and perform in three major concert events each year (Winter Concert, HPS 4-12 Band Fest, and Spring Concert), as well as at Graduation. This group also serves as a Pep Band for the home varsity football games and Homecoming and Thanksgiving rallies, and as a Marching Band for Hudson's annual Veterans' Day and Memorial Day parades, as well as at other school and community events.
Jazz Ensemble is an extracurricular ensemble, modeled after classic "Big Band" instrumentation (saxophones, trumpets, trombones, drum-set, piano, electric guitar, and Bass). This group focuses on "swing" style music, but also plays a variety of music in the popular traditions of Jazz, rock, and other popular music styles.

HHS Choral program (website not currently maintained) - Hudson High School has had a long history of active choral groups, and students who have successfully participated in Central District and All-State Music Festivals. Choral groups have included Vocal Ensemble, Chorus, Camerata, CamNotes, Concert Chorus, General Chorus, Select Chorus, Symphonic Chorus, Symphonic Choir, Show Choir, Show Choir, A Cappella, Barbershop, Girls Chorus, and Moonlighters. Many of our vocalists perform in Musical Theatre productions by HHS Drama Society.
